The Atomic Age CD and Concerts (in collaboration with poet Winston Plowes) - 2015/16
The series of rehearsals and shows culminated in the recording of the first album which was put down in a single take. Phase two showed the group’s reliance on cues with their positive impact to guide and form but also to inhibit and restrict the development of the music. Rather than have the music and poetry taking place at the same time, one follows the other. The poetry was fixed but its reading changed every time. To begin to widen awareness of the project, the group perform outside of their Preston base for the first time.
